Suzanne Stork (EL Teacher)

storkIn the course of more than thirty years of teaching, Suzanne Stork has found great joy in seeing students discover their many unique abilities.  While earning a BS in Education and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin, Ms. Stork worked part-time doing after-school care in a small Montessori school.  The Montessori method resonated strongly with her and she dreamed of taking Montessori training. This dream came true in 1992 when she attended The Montessori Institute of Milwaukee where she earned an Elementary diploma. She recently completely a master’s program in Curriculum and Instruction for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students at George Mason University.  She has enjoyed teaching both lower and upper elementary Montessori and currently loves her position as a teacher for English Language Learners at MPSA.

Ms. Stork is the mother of two young adult daughters and lives in Arlington with her husband and their two dogs.  She enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as reading, hiking, yoga and swimming. She loves the out of doors and recently became a master naturalist.
