Tamara Freeman (SPED Teacher)

My name is Tamara Freeman and I am a Special Education Teacher at Montessori Public School or Arlington. I have received my Bachelor or Social Work from Virginia State University and Master of Severe Disabilities (Special Education) from Norfolk State University shortly after. Before entering the education field, I practiced social work for four years, mostly in Richmond, Virginia where I worked in behavioral health with children. During the times I am not educating, I enjoy spending time with my family and trying new restaurants. I have also found new interest in gardening which has become very relaxing for me.
