Meet Counselor Diane Reeser
Ms. Reeser, as school counselor for MPSA, helps students develop competency in their academic life and explore career options by nurturing their social-emotional intelligence through classroom lessons, small groups and individual work. She believes in the “power of one” while understanding that “it takes a village.”
As a member of the American Montessori Society and the American School Counselor Association, Ms. Reeser holds two Bachelor degrees from Immaculata University and a Masters of Arts in Education and Human Development from the George Washington University. Ms. Reeser worked in both public and private schools, in North, Central and South America. She has worked in APS since 1997 as either a primary Montessori teacher or elementary school counselor integrating mindfulness practice into her work with students.
In her spare time, Ms. Reeser enjoys ballroom dancing, kayaking, and enjoying the antics of her two cats, Sunny and Willow.
